Anne Wareham, MPhil (Cantab), Dip. Clin. Psych., is a Registered Pschoilogist in Newfoundland and Labrador who is employed as the Clinical Lead of the Janeway Lifestyle Program. Anne completed her clinical psychology training at the University of Cambridge, UK, and the British Psychological Society. She received additional training in Gestalt psychotherapy (Gestalt Awareness Training Experience) and clinical hypnosis (University College London, UK). Since returning to Newfoundland, she has received further training in Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Person Brain Model (Trainer). She has recently completed requirements to become a certified therapist in Intensive Short-term Dynamic Psychotherapy with the ISTDP Institute. Over the past 25 years, Anne has held staff positions within Eastern Health in Janeway Psychiatry, Janeway Family Centre and Children’s Development and Rehabilitation. She has presented at Provincial, National and International conferences on healthy active living and body image. Anne has published a children’s book on body diversity (Percy Pinhorn) that is being used in the NL school curriculum.
