Jamie Hack (he/him) has been fortunate to be able to serve the community as a speech-language pathologist (SLP) and healthcare leader, and regulatory board member. He currently serves as the Program Manager for the BC Autism Assessment Network and Complex Development and Behaviour Conditions at Sunny Hill Health Centre. Jamie leads a dedicated team of staff whose approach is characterized by cultural humility, collaboration, and family centered-care. Jamie remains deeply committed to ongoing learning and professional development. Receiving his Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of British Columbia in 2007, he continues to serve the university as a Clinical Assistant Professor. He has led and collaborated in research that is aimed at advancing knowledge and best practices in speech-language pathology. Jamie's continuing education in Indigenous cultural safety, leadership, and regulatory compliance reflects his holistic approach to healthcare leadership, recognizing the importance of cultural humility and awareness in delivering equitable care. He is committed to eliminating Indigenous-Specific Racism in healthcare.
Jamie is a husband and father to two girls who all enjoy exploring British Columbia together, camping in a tent.
