Dr. Kassia Johnson is a Developmental Paediatrician and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at McMaster University. She provides clinical services through the Developmental Paediatric and Rehabilitation - Child Development Clinics at Ron Joyce Children’s Health Centre in Hamilton, Ontario. Dr. Johnson also works in many different equity, diversity and inclusion roles at different institutions including Senior Medical Director EDI for Hamilton Health Sciences, Physician Co-Lead of the Antiracism Initiative in the Canadian Paediatric Society, Co-Lead of the Pediatric arm of the Ontario Black Health Plan and Co-Medical Director of the Extensive Needs Program at Ron Joyce Children’s Health Centre. Dr. Johnson continues to work with a number of community organizations that are doing essential work in the areas of antiracism, Black Health, child protection and community organizing.
