Racheal is a CNA certified paeadiatric RN, and Director of Communications for the Canadian Association of Paediatric Nurses (CAPN). She is also the Local 75 Occupation Health and Safety Chairperson with the Saskatchewan Union of Nurses (SUN) and works as a staff nurse on the paediatric inpatient department (PIPD) at the Jim Pattison Children's Hospital (JPCH) in Saskatoon, SK a part of the Saskatachewan Health Authority (SHA). Racheal is also an active member of the Canadian Paediatrics Society (CPS), the Canadian Vascular Access Association (CVAA), and the Canadian Association for Medical and Surgical Nurses (CAMSN).
Prior to nursing, Racheal completed her BHKin and worked with various sports teams and associations in BC. She graduated with distinction from BCIT in 2009 with her BScN and has worked as a paediatric nurse all across Canada - from the ER at BCCH, to MSNU at the IWK, and now on PIPD at JPCH. Racheal has definitely found her niche as a paeds nurse, and is awed and inspired by children on a daily basis. Her primary areas of interest include: paediatric nursing, general paediatrics, paediatric oncology and paediatric sports medicine.
