Pediatric Resident - PGY4

Sara is a fourth-year pediatrics resident at Memorial University (MUN). She earned her MD from the University of Ottawa and holds a Bachelor of Education from the same institution. Before pursuing a career in medicine, she was a teacher, which sparked her passion for education. As she goes through residency, Sara is also working toward a Master's in Education to further develop her pedagogical skills. Throughout her residency, she has cultivated an interest in equity, diversity, and inclusion, particularly in how to effectively integrate these principles into postgraduate medical education. She has successfully created and implemented a Microaggression workshop which has been trailed at different residency training programs.
