Dr. Melissa Vloet, C. Psych. works as a Clinical and Health Psychologist at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario and with ECHO Ontario Child and Youth Mental Health. As a member of the multidisciplinary ECHO Ontario Child and Youth Mental Health Hub, Melissa works with primary care learning partners across Ontario to deliver didactic seminars and case-based learning as part of ongoing continuing, evidence based training. Additionally, Melissa is a Staff Psychologist at CHEO working with the Behavioural Neurosciences Consultation Liaison Service, providing care to inpatient and outpatient populations with complex medical and mental health needs. She also has the pleasure of leading the family therapy component of the CHEO Psychology Residency program and holds an appointment as an Associate Clinical Professor with The University of Ottawa School of Psychology. Melissa's research portfolio includes projects in the following areas: health systems/public policy research, psychosocial genetics, insecure housing amongst youth, and program evaluation.
