Natasha completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of Toronto and her MSc in Health Promotion at Queen’s University. Currently, she is pursuing a PhD in Health Systems Research at the University of Toronto’s Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation, funded by the Restracomp Graduate Scholarship in Child Health Equity. Under the supervision of Dr. Eyal Cohen and Dr. Julia Orkin, her dissertation focuses on the evolution of health care networks for youth with medical complexity during their transition from paediatric to adult health care systems. Using social network analysis, she aims to uncover patterns and identify gaps in care delivery, ultimately working towards developing strategies to enhance continuity and quality of care for this population. Alongside her doctoral research, Natasha applies her expertise as a Clinical Research Project Manager at SickKids Research Institute, driven by her commitment to improving the lives of youth with medical complexity.
