Territorial Chief of Pediatrics

Holden Sheffield is a general pediatrician with special interest in rural and remote care. Following his pediatric training at the University of Toronto in 2016 he went to Iqaluit, Nunavut where the initial plan was to stay for one year. He has been there ever since, working full time at the Qikiqtani General Hospital. He became Chief of Pediatrics in 2018 and starting in 2022 was appointed the inaugural Territorial Chief of Pediatrics for Nunavut. Some areas of interest include program design and development, and pediatric transport medicine.
