Etcetera Productions Show Choir
Etcetera Productions
Under the direction of Justin Goulding (Artistic Director) and Megan Barnes (Lead Vocal Coach) the Etcetera Productions Show Choir and Junior Show Choir are performance groups from the music studios of Etcetera Productions in St. John’s. The Junior Show Choir program is a teaching and performance program for young performers in Grades1-6, and the Show Choir is an auditioned group of performers in Grades 7-12. The Junior Show Choir performs alongside the Etcetera Productions Show Choir multiple times throughout the year; performances include a beloved annual Christmas Festival of Lessons and Carols, and the Etcetera concert series with this year’s show, Etcetera 37, set for late June 2025 at the St. John’s Arts and Culture Centre. The Etcetera Concert series, which takes place annually, is a theatrically staged musical celebration of song and dance, featuring performers of all ages and a live stage band. The Etcetera performances cater to a wide range of genres – from the latest hits, to country, classical, musical theatre, classic rock, traditional Newfoundland, and beyond. Show Choir performers have been featured internationally in Japan, France, England, Belgium, Ireland, the Netherlands, Finland, Russia, and Austria performing on world-renowned stages including The Golden Hall of Musikverein with the Vienna Boys Choir, Royal Caribbean Cruises, Beaumont Hamel, the World Expo in Japan, the Peace Palace of the Hague, the Hiroshima Peace Cathedral and the Hiroshima Children’s Peace Memorial. Thrilling audiences on stages in Sea World, Busch Gardens, Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Tokyo DisneySea, and Disneyland Paris, show choir performers participate in a successful program that is now in its 39th year of training outstanding performers! This year, members of the Etcetera Productions Show Choir will be performing at Walt Disney World’s Candlelight Processional in Epcot on Saturday, December 7th.
